spray on coating

Guide 04 / Uses

Where spray coatings are used

Spraying shines on large, uneven or awkward surfaces where a brush would leave laps and a roller cannot reach.

Vehicles

Spray liners cover truck beds, trailers and van floors with a seamless layer that follows every rib and corner. Textured finishes add grip and soften noise.

Roofs and decks

Flat roofs, balconies and decks benefit from a joint free membrane that sheds water. Spray coatings can follow drains, curbs and edges in one pass.

Floors, walls and tanks

Warehouse floors, plant walls, containment areas and tanks get coatings that resist wear and chemicals. Spraying reaches inside corners and around fittings that brushes miss.

Marine and outdoor structures

Docks, walkways and boat parts face water, salt and sun. A sprayed coating can seal end grain, fasteners and seams that would otherwise rot or rust.

Do

  • Match the coating to the exposure
  • Plan masking for nearby surfaces
  • Think about grip on walking areas
  • Ask about repair options later

Avoid

  • Spraying outdoors in wind
  • Ignoring drainage on flat areas
  • Using a hard coating where things flex
  • Forgetting edges and fasteners

General information only. Follow the product data sheet and safety data sheet for the coating you use.
